PEAK PERFORMANCE UNDER PRESSURE
WHAT IS MINDMATES?
Mindmates is a comprehensive performance-based program that focuses on mindfulness, meditation, and biofeedback. The goal of the program is to advance the mental side of performance when it is most needed, before, during, and after games, giving a competitive edge over adversaries. We achieve this through a workshop format comprising various short exercises, skills, tips, and personal experiences.
VISUALIZATION
One aspect of the Mindmates program focuses on visualization and goal-setting as it relates to reaching peak performance. These exercises train regions of the brain that are associated with creative thought and cognition. We focus on the importance of goal-setting through the implementation of the SMART goals rubric as well as pre and post-match reflection.
SELF-REGULATION
The program examines how to control your emotions and stress hormones through exercises when the stakes are the highest, ultimately with the goal of advancing in-game performance and real-time recovery. This section assists in creating routines that support body and mind in effectively managing stress, recovery, and the promotion of peak performance.
PEAK PERFORMANCE
We examine what Peak Performance looks and feels like for you. It serves as the knot to our sessions and discusses how everything we learned is geared towards optimal outcome.
